We are eager to know you, and we are excited to share with you the marvelous ways God is working in our church.
It will not take you long to discover that this is truly a family, rich in the relationships that matter most. Growing together, we worship, we serve, we laugh, we cry, we learn, and we reach out to our world with life-transforming truth. We reach out to you as well. Whether you are a first-time or returning guest we would like to get to know you better and be able to minister to you more effectively. Ministers of the gospel are available to pray with you, listen to you, or share with you an encouraging message to brighten your day. We are a church on the rise! We gather for fellowship and teaching; we sing together and pray together. Through worship and study, we grow and discover God’s purpose for our lives. God loves each of us and wants us to have a closer relationship with Him. Wherever you are in your faith journey, we welcome you to be a part of our fellowship. Being a believer is not complicated…it is simply putting faith and trust in Jesus Christ into action.
We are the Saints of Christ (I Corinthians 1:1-1). Our church was formally re-established in the U.S. in 1896; however, we believe it is the same church from the days of Jesus Christ (Matthew 16:18). We believe the Old and New Testaments, as translated in the King James Version of the Bible, were given by inspiration of God, and the contents therein are sufficient to save souls. The Bible is our source of spiritual authority, and we believe all religious practices and beliefs should be based on the direct words of GOD–not politics, popularity, or pleasantry (II Timothy 3:16).
We want your visit to our church to be a pleasant, comfortable, and life-enriching experience. Rest assured, we will do all we can to make you feel at home with us. We know an unfamiliar place can be intimidating, so let us help you get more familiar with us. As with any aspect of our service, you are welcome to participate or just observe. Below is what to expect when you honor us with a visit.
- Congregation – We are a small congregation with a BIG heart. Expect a pleasant and welcoming environment. We are a work in progress, so expect to see imperfect people. If people were perfect, there would not be a need for church.
- Singing – In general, we sing songs of praise unto God without instrumental accompaniment. We clap our hands and often prance to the melody of the songs.
- Reading – We read from the King James version of the Bible.
- Testimonies – We have an open and free will thanksgiving devotional service.
- Preaching – We preach the direct word of God, and address many diverse subjects, which we believe will help you live a happy, fulfilling, and successful life.
